A special meeting of the Professional Standards and Teacher Education Board has been scheduled for July 8 at 1:30 p.m. The meeting will take place in the State Board room of the Maryland State Education Building, 200 West Baltimore Street, Baltimore, Maryland.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider withdrawal of proposed regulatory changes (COMAR 13A.12..03.01; .09; and .10) as published in the Maryland Register on June 20, 2008 as well as cancellation of the public hearing scheduled for August 7, 2008. The meeting is open to the public; however, there will be no opportunity for public comment.
